Does the person I share with need the app or an account?: No. They tap the link and the album opens right in the browser. They can leave hearts and short notes without signing up.
Are my photos and videos kept in original quality?: Yes. Heapo keeps the files you upload as they are. For iPhone HEIC photos and HEVC videos it also makes a copy any browser can open, so the people you share with don't need to convert anything.
What if a link gets passed on to someone else?: You make a separate link for each person and can turn any link off at any time. Once it's off, that link no longer opens the album.
How much can I store for free?: Up to 5 GB is free. More storage is available as a subscription in the Heapo mobile app.
Will my albums show up in search engines?: No. Albums and sharing links are set to stay out of search engines. Only posts a group creator chooses to publish to the public explore space can be seen by anyone.
Which devices does Heapo work on?: Heapo works in any web browser and has apps for iPhone and Android. The people you share with only need a browser.
